Pros: Understated, pleasing styling. Easy-to-understand setup and operation. Sufficiently powerful, 32-dB signal amplification. Very low price. Cons: Nothing major. For "silver" (not "black") color, you'll need to buy Philips' costlier model MANT510.

Works great
by intewedm ,Nov 10 '08
Pros: It does the job it's advertised to do. Cons: The blue LED is annoyingly bright. LIke any indoor antenna, it's another piece of clutter.
This antenna greatly increases the DT signal over my unamplified Philips antenna and brings in channels that I don't get with the unamplified one. I completely removed the VHF "rabbit ears" as they are not used for the UHF DT signals, and they impede the rotational adjustment of the UHF segment. Anyone who is saying these don't work either doesn't know what they are doing or they are too far from the towers.

I don't recommend.
by send4pizza ,Nov 22 '08
Pros: None that I am aware of. Cons: Inability to pull in the very basic of television signals.
I found this site because I was wondering if I was the only person who thought this antenna was not worth purchasing. I bought two--one for my Dad and one for myself and neither help the digital signal on our respective televisions. In fact, I just replaced this "antenna" with the rabbit ears that Dad got with his TV and have significantly improved the picture. I wish, I wish I had saved the receipt. I would take these back. Fast.

not very good
by mgigman ,Jun 25 '08
Pros: non Cons: week signals.
I have this atenna and its not very good. I have another cheaper antenna that works ten time better than this. The amplification does absolutely nothing!
when I turned it on it made the picture worse. I just got a digital box, plugged this into and half the channels I used to get are gone since with digital if you do not have a good signal you get nothing at all. I wouldn't wast my money on this unless you are sitting next to the transmitting antenna. I live right outside NYC and can see the empire state building, that transmits tv airwaves, from my apartment window and still this antenna does nothing.
