Pros: This product works really good and is easy to use. Cons: We have never had any problems with Rain X.
One of the worst things in life that a person can have, are bugs on the windshield of your car/truck! You can’t see to drive with them there in your face! You can hardly get the things off. You find yourself using squeegee after squeegee at every gas ...
Pros: Works Great! Availability. Cons: Doesn't remove bad drivers..
Moving from California to North Carolina has presented more issues for me than just a huge culture shock. The heat, the cold, the hurricanes are some examples, but the massive amounts of airborne bugs takes the annoyance cake by far! In the eastern ...
Pros: Works like a charm! Not hype! Easy to use! Cons: More expensive than regular washer fluid
I've never used the traditional Rain-X product - the one that you rub on your windshield and water will magically sheet and bead. This way, you won't have to use your windshield wiper as much, and the glass is much more clearer in rainy days than ...
Pros: Easy to use, excellent performance in most climate conditions. Cons: sometimes hard to find frequently out of stock due to its popularity.
I've used Rain-X products for over 15 years. I would rate the stuff you wipe on and buff off 3 stars. It does an excellent job for 4 to 10 weeks. Several months ago while at Wal-Mart, I happened to stumble on Rain-X Bug Remover Windshield Washer Fluid ...
Pathetic cold weather performance by mattg36 ,Dec 29 '04
Pros: Took bugs off, but I'm sure Dawn and water works too. Neither has freeze protection. Cons: Frozen SOLID in my car. Need I say more?
I bought this product over the summer, and generally liked it. Nowhere on the label did I notice a warning about its pathetic cold weather performance. If it was there, it was well hidden.
It is now December, and the stuff is frozen SOLID in my reservoir. I went to their website to find their contact information and noticed it is only rated to 30F! NEVER have I seen such pathetic cold weather performance in a washer fluid... not even the cheap $0.99 crap. I might as well use water mixed with Dawn dishwashing soap. Isn't that the reason you pay more? To get something that won't freeze.
If you are expecting cold weather, get this out of your car now!
