ABOUT ME
I am a British guy who has been living in the U.S. for the past 25 years. I now live in Southeastern PA with my wife and one kitty. We live just far enough away from Philadelphia and New Jersey to count as being in the countryside.
I love sports, both playing and watching - and I've spent many, many years coaching both girls and boys soccer teams. I also, for fun and abuse, occasionally referee a game or two.
I’ve been on a fitness kick the last year or so and bought a pedometer to measure how far I walk each day so I can hit those magical 10,000 steps every day. Read about the Omron Pedometer.
I wrote a review
about using Epinions Royalties to Save Taxes
It generated a lot of comment and has been one of my most popular reviews. As I also have fun and relax being a part-time freelance writer it was a really interesting topic.
I have to travel a lot on business, so many of my reviews focus around the places I visit, making a point of exploring every new city I happen to be in. My plan for next summer is to visit as many baseball parks as I can.
I also try to read at least one non-business related off-the-wall book every couple of months. So you'll see some esoteric book reviews of mine that I write more for fun than any hope of getting more than 20-30 hits.
I rate other peoples reviews based upon learning something new in an entertaining or educational way, assuming that other people will do the same for me.
If you write a half-dozen reviews a day – especially about LUSH products or catfood I’ll usually give them a miss. Otherwise I'll rate fairly whether I disagree with you or not - except if you criticize English Beer.
